Cordyline petiolaris

Also called the 'Broad Leaved Palm Lily' This is an attractive glossy, deep green coloured broad-leaf Cordyline native to Australia. It can grow quite tall, up to 5 metres and more, and is an understory plant so prefers part shade. Hardy and easy to grow it has lovely white flowers in winter and red berries in summer which attract all sorts of beneficial insects and birds.
