Zamioculcas zamiifolia - ZZ plant or Zanzibar gem

Almost unkillable. Commonly known as the ZZ plant, or Zanzibar gem.

Slow-growing, but can reach up to 90cm indoors.

Likes bright, indirect light, though morning sun is fine. Can tolerate low light, though won’t grow as fast.

Allow the top 2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings. This may mean watering once a fortnight in the warmer months, and once a month in winter.

Feed 4 times a year with a balanced liquid fertiliser diluted by half.
