Hardy Bamboo Palm

One of the most cold hardy of the Chamaedorea genus, microspadix thrives in locations where winter temperatures periodically dip below freezing. This red fruiting ornamental palm enjoys moist shady locations outdoors, but is surprisingly hardy to full sun too. Ideally plant away from strong winds. Perfectly adapted for the tropical garden it makes a great tall living hedge, when planted in multiples. But being tough and easy-care it also makes an excellent indoor palm adding an instant exotic tropical feel, tolerant of low to bright light position. Grows 2-3m.

Planted in 15cm nursery pots at 300mm
