Cinnamon Tree (Starter seedling)

Cinnamon or Cinnamomum verum the 'True Cinnamon Tree' (as distinct from its doppelganger Cassia) is the famous bushy evergreen tree whose bark, when dried gives us the fabulous and fabled spice.
In it will need a frost free location and is best not planted out until the tree is a but older and more robust. Fortunately, they do quite well in pots, so you can move it around to get the best of the seasons. Unlike in their native Sri Lanka where their growth rate is incredible, here in they will be slow growing but will have bursts of growth in the warmer months - producing bunches of lovely new leaves that are a delicate peachy colour until they slowly harden off to green.
This is great plant for collectors of the weird, wonderful and epicurious.
