Mini Monstera

This plant has a few nicknames: Mini monstera, Philodendron minima, Monstera minima to name a few. This may partly be due to the difficulty in remembering and pronouncing its real name; Rhaphidophora tetrasperma and partly because of its resemblance to the well-known Monstera deliciosa.
Minima has similarly split leaves but they are much smaller, say 5-10cm long. The vine will grow very long given the chance. As an epiphyte it attaches to trees in nature, and will love a support to grow up so that it doesn’t attach to your walls! Or you can keep it bushy with regular pruning. The cuttings can be propagated and put back into the pot to keep it lush and compact.

As with other aroids, this plant loves humidity, bright indirect light and a free-draining chunky potting mix.

Note: white cover pots in photos for inspo, not for sale.
