Behind the Art

La Poire / Anine Cecilie Iversen is an artist and graphic designer based in Copenhagen. Having been painting watercolours and drawing since she was a child, her work is a study in vibrant colours, bold silhouettes, femininity and organic shapes. She takes inspiration from modern art, nature, fashion and her own feelings and thoughts. Her paintings of women seek to explore both the vulnerability and grace of the modern, fashionable human being.
