has a most beautiful voice combining fluid, melodious bell-like notes with other sounds like coughs, cackles, clicks and whistles. They sample elements from their sonic environment and sew it into their song.

Jo Gallagher is a contemporary artist whose work explores the subtle interplay between memory, place, and identity. Drawing inspiration from the natural landscapes of New Zealand and the quiet rhythm of rural life, her paintings often balance abstraction and realism, evoking a sense of stillness and reflection. Jo works primarily as a contemporary realist but sometimes add a layer of humour into her compositions.
