' represents one of the many huts located around New Zealand in the beautiful landscapes we have to offer. Hiking and staying in a backcountry hut is a favourite kiwi pastime and I try to capture the mood and season of the land using colour pallets I think suit the environment.

Symbolism is used throughout my work such as small dots are small flowers, large white dots are sheep. Hearts are bunnies! And dashes are footsteps.' - Tracy Watson
