US Extreme Cold Weather Gen III L7 Parka

Surplus extreme cold weather parka with a windproof and waterproof nylon outer shell, insulated with PrimaLoft, and a stowable insulated hood. This example is sized Small Regular and weighs approximately 1.4 kg.

First developed during the 1980s, the ECWCS (Extended Cold Weather Clothing System) set the precedent for the military's cold weather protection long into the present.
