Dual thermostat conversion kit with two 6.4mm spade terminals & two 4.8mm spade terminals for temperature control & safety cutout. Suits newer Hoover Apollo dryers fitted with a circular heating element without any modification. Also includes extra spade terminals and fitting instructions to suit older dryers which use a dual thermostat with four 6.4mm spade terminals.
Suits all older Hoover Apollo & Admiral clothes dryers and also suits some new Simpson & Westinghouse clothes dryers but your electrician may need to use the supplied new terminals.
Operating temperature 110 degrees C, safety cutout temperature 206 degrees C.
This part causes intermittent heat and intermittent no power symptoms - the 110 degree cutout can reset itself, however if the 206 degree thermostat opens the complete dual thermostat will need to be replaced.
