French Tarragon dormant plant

Grown organically at KoruKai Herb Farm, Banks Peninsula, New Zealand, without the use of synthetic fertilisers, pesticides, or herbicides.

French tarragon is one of the world's finest culinary herbs, treasured for its delicate anise-like flavour and fragrant, narrow green leaves. A cornerstone of traditional French cuisine, it brings a distinctive flavour to béarnaise, hollandaise, and tartare sauces, while pairing beautifully with chicken, fish, eggs, potatoes, mushrooms, tomatoes, and many vegetable dishes. It also makes an excellent infused vinegar, herb butter, or fresh addition to salad dressings.

Unlike Russian tarragon, which is commonly grown from seed but has a much milder flavour, true French tarragon is sterile and must be propagated by division or cuttings. This ensures every plant has the rich aroma and superior flavour that has made French tarragon a favourite of chefs for centuries.
