Kawakawa Balm

Kawakawa (macropiper exelsum): Plants that heal the land are the ones that heal us. Kawakawa is one of those plants. It is probably the most important plant in Rongoā Maori and is used for almost every possible ailment. It is said that it combines all the healing powers in one plant and Māori have been using it for medicine and in ceremonies from birth till the end of life.
Kawakawa is an entire plant pharmacy in itself, capable of many different actions that make it useful for a wide array of conditions. Used topically (on the skin), it can reduce the inflammation of common skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and skin rashes. It aids in the healing of cuts and wounds. As an anti-microbial herb, Kawakawa is a wonderful aid for treating any infections.

Organically grown and harvested by hand, the herbs are then dried and manually processed to guarantee a top-quality product.

Uses: Apply 2-4 times a day.
