GROW BAR - Grow Light Kit - Full Spectrum White Light - USB

"My fav lights for under my shelves. Have seen so much growth since using these. Very easy to install just stick on and plug in. Have bought several for different areas and also now converted my Mum."
Sonia ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

USB model (use with your own adaptor)

These lights are exactly the same as the 5 star rated Grow Bar with Plug >but this model does NOT include a USB to plug adaptor.

These lights are compatible with standard USB A to plug adaptors (used for other appliances like speakers and phones). This model works with standard 1A adaptors but for best performance use a 2A (or higher) adaptor.
What is a Grow Bar?

Grow Bars are grow lights kits made for your plant shelves, Ikea cabinets, book shelves and under cabinets. They emit a bright, white, full-spectrum light to give your indoor jungle the extra light they love, without the burn.

Perfect for lower light areas all year-round or a light boost to get through winter. Ideal to supplement natural light for variegated plants, for propagating houseplant cuttings and baby plants, as well as all your indoor plants that prefer bright, indirect light.

Grow Bars are designed for indoor plant hobbyists venturing into the often confusing world of grow lights for the first time.

A budget-friendly kit, including built-in timer with USB cord (compatible with standard USB to plug adaptors, not included).

What's included in the kit?

Both Grow Bars measures 33cms long and this kit comes with two Grow Bars included (two bars connected to one controller and one cord / timer / plug). These kits are very much 'plug and play' with n o fancy set-up needed.
Kit includes

- 2 connected Grow Bars with full-spectrum, white LED light chips.
- 1.8 metre USB power cord (add your own adaptor),
- In-line controller with 3 timer and 4 brightness settings,
- Screws or strong, self-adhesive tape for attaching to shelves

Colour = warm end of white (see product photos)
You can also use cable ties or plant velcro (not included), if you want a less permanent solution for attaching them compared to the tape or screws (included).

Everything comes neatly, safely tucked up in a cardboard box (shown in the photos). P lant shelves and any plants shown are not included.

Please note these lights don't come with directions and although very simple to use, you can come back to check this page for the directions if you're unsure (or email me).

The 2 Grow Bars can be used in-line for longer shelves, or up to 33cms apart for attaching to multiple levels or shelves, as the power cord (which is 1.8 metres long), splits into two cords (one to each light).
Built-in timer settings

The timer button is the button with the clock on it. Use to set a 2 hour, 4 hour or 8 hour timer or you can also use these lights on manual on/off.

When you press the timer button, a light will show that matches the colour of the time you selected, as follows:

2H written in green on the controller means 2 hours and a green light will appear.

4H written in blue means 4 hours and a blue light will appear when selected.

8H written in red means 8 hours and a red light will appear.

Once set, the light will stay on for the selected time. It will turn off 2 or 4 or 8 hours later. Then turn on again at the time it was set the next day. If you manually turn the lights off (using the controller or at the wall), you'll need to manually turn them on and set the timer again.

Please note: The same as all grow lights with built-in timers, these are not compatible with external plug timers. For that you want the Sansi bulbs combined with a compatible lamp.
Specs

Combined you have 10 watts and 5 volts for low energy consumption, with 48 LED full-spectrum chips per bar, with a light wavelength range of 380 to 780 nm. Nm stands for nanometers, which measures the wavelengths of the light produced.

Plants require light in the 400 to 700 nm range to photosynthesize, known as PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation). It's not the brightness (how it appears to us), but the PAR that matters to our plants.

Full-spectrum doesn't mean sunlight. It refers to the CRI or Colour Rendering Index being over 90, meaning the light produced is much the same as how we see colours in our natural world li
