Kererū Reading Watercolour Print | Digital Download
A cute watercolour illustration of a fluffy kererū reading a book, symbolising learning, growth, and patience.
A sweet and meaningful addition to nurseries, early childhood centres, classrooms, playrooms, or tamariki bedrooms.
About
This download is part of a fundraising initiative supporting Te Kura o Manunui, with a portion of each sale contributing back to the kura. The illustration comes from a collection originally commissioned to create a cohesive set of postcards and certificates that reflect the identity, values, and aspirations of the kura. Inspired by the meaning "multitude of native birds," each illustration symbolises qualities nurtured and recognised in tamariki as they grow in confidence, knowledge, creativity, and cultural identity. The soft, watercolour style reflects the many waterways of the rohe, subtly connecting each piece to the kura environment.
