Whakawhetai: A Bilingual Gratitude Journal
by Hira Nathan
Whakawhetai is a thoughtfully crafted bilingual gratitude journal designed to nurture both your hauora and your reo Māori.
Grounded in a Māori holistic worldview, this journal invites you to slow down and reflect across the four dimensions of hauora: taha tinana (physical), taha hinengaro (mental), taha wairua (spiritual), and taha whānau (family).
Life can feel heavy at times, but Whakawhetai gently reminds us that even in difficult seasons, there is always something worth holding onto. By regularly noticing and recording moments of gratitude, this practice can have a powerful impact on your wellbeing, mindset, and sense of balance.
Interwoven throughout the journal are whakataukī and inspirational quotes in both te reo Māori and English, offering guidance, encouragement, and moments of pause. More than a journal, Whakawhetai is a space to centre yourself, honour your journey, and celebrate the life you are living. Features
