Since seeing the sculpture of her in Napier as a child on a holiday with my whanau, I have been smitten with all her glorious beauty. Queen P also signifies the one and only roadie we did with my Poppa Les, the only grandparent I got to meet and know. A magical two weeks on the road visiting many kiwiana attractions Circa 1979.
