Small but mighty, the Kārearea (NZ Falcon) is known for its powerful flight, piercing cry, and fearsome dive-bombing strikes. While it’s one of our most threatened birds of prey, it’s also one of the boldest, launching high-speed aerial attacks from treetop perches to take down live prey mid-air.

Both male and female Kārearea can be identified by their unique “moustache" markings and alert, forward-facing eyes. With this Corten® steel silhouette, you can capture that energy and elegance permanently in your garden, no helmet required.
