KOMATSUNA MICROGREEN SEEDS

 

Komatsuna microgreens are tender young greens with a mild mustard flavour and gentle peppery bite.

Often called Japanese mustard spinach, they add fresh crunch and vibrant colour to salads, sandwiches, and bowls.

FLAVOUR:

They’re less spicy than arugula or radish microgreens, offering a soft, leafy green taste with a subtle hint of sweetness and just a touch of brassica bite.

USE ME IN:

The flavour is clean and balanced, making them very versatile. They add a light peppery lift to salads, sandwiches, grain bowls and eggs without overpowering other ingredients.

Great flavour pairings:

Soy, sesame and ginger

Avocado and cucumber

Grilled chicken or fish

Noodles, rice bowls and stir-fries

Soft cheeses and eggs

NUTRITION:

Komatsuna microgreens are a nutrient-dense leafy green packed with vitamins A, C and K, along with calcium and potassium.

Like many brassica microgreens, they contain antioxidants and beneficial plant compounds that help support immune health and reduce inflammation.

Their high vitamin K and calcium content also contributes to bone health.

Despite their small size, a handful of komatsuna microgreens can add a meaningful nutritional boost to everyday meals.
