The the mid-sized piece in the Aegean Collection — a tall, tapered form that narrows from a wide base up to a flared rim, with two small loop handles sitting either side of the neck. The kind of detail that references centuries of ceramic history without making a point of it.

The glaze runs the full body — mottled white over raw clay, speckled where it thinned, pooled where it gathered, with terracotta breaking through at the edges and base. No two pieces will look exactly the same. That's not a disclaimer, it's the point.

Drop in a handful of fern fronds and it looks like something from a Grecian courtyard. Leave it empty on a console table and it holds its own as a sculptural object. Either way, it earns the space it takes up.

Works beautifully with: Fern fronds, olive branches, dried botanicals, pampas stems, or displayed empty. The tapered wide base gives good stability for taller, looser arrangements.
