The Raven a spy for Odin is carrying Odin's eye- which he sacrificed to obtain wisdom.

It is being delivered to his wife-Frigg who is the goddess of marriage and fertility. As we already know females are wise, so with this symbolic transfer I'm writing my version of the myth.
