Leuty Hat, Laura Chau. Print Knitting Pattern

This is a beautifully printed knitting pattern which also includes a Ravelry download code.

Leuty is a cozy textured hat with a lush folded brim. The simple knit and purl pattern is easy to work and creates a lovely diamond effect. Decreases are worked over just a few rounds, for a gathered top that’s a perfect perch for a fluffy pompom. Shown in largest size.

Designed for Malabrigo Rios or other 10ply and worsted weight yarns

Yarn: 10ply / Worsted / Aran
Meterage: Worsted weight yarn, approximately 165 (175, 183) m. Plus extra for pom pom.
Shown in Malabrigo Rios (192 m per 100 g skein), 1 skein in Teal Feather

Finished brim circumference: 44 (48, 52) cm
To fit approximate head circumference: 46 (51, 56) cm

Needles: US 6 / 4mm circular needles, 16" / 40 cm long, and set of double pointed needles (or needles of choice for working small circumferences in the round)

Notions: stitch marker, tapestry needle

Gauge: 20 stitches and 32 rows = 10 cm in pattern stitch
