Notes: Grapefruit and baked spice A pioneer of the Antioquia coffee industry, Edgar Leon Moreno Gonzalez has been producing specialty coffee in the region for over 15 years. (@finca el bosque ) is planted with 5.56 hectares of coffee and produces 11 tonne annually. One variety grown on the Caturra Chiroso variety - a unique variety made popular in the Antioquia department. Caturra Chiroso received its name due to the unique elongated shape with producers likening a stretched t-shirt - colloquially know as a ‘chiro’.
