Decoy - Shrink Tube

This heat shrink tube is ideal for protecting and strengthening the base of assist hooks. It shrinks with heat from a hair dryer, so it is easy to work with and is ideal for creating original assist hooks.
3.5mm: Pike AS-03. #1 to #1/0 class
4.0mm: Pike AS-03. #2/0 to #3/0 class
4.5mm: Cutlass JS-2. #2/0 to #4/0 class
5.5mm: Cutlass JS-2. #4/0 to #6/0 class
6.5mm: Cutlass JS-2. #6/0 to #8/0 class
The above compatibility table is only a guide. It may vary slightly depending on the assist line used, the thickness of the base, and the length of the cut shrink tube.

The shrinkage starts at 90 degrees or higher. The shrinkage value indicated is around 115 degrees.

It is possible to shrink the material using direct flame from a lighter,., but please be aware that this may cause heat damage to the assist lines,., resulting in a decrease in strength.
