As you may be aware, Australia Post's smallest (500g) parcel prices start at $9. This cost is included in your strap purchase. We also eat the extra costs should you have a regional address.
We have 2 manufacturers who are involved in making these straps - the aluminium buckle manufacturer, and the nylon strap manufacturer who is also the manufacturer of Tully.

Because our bulk order is relatively small (ie. not in the 10,000's) the per-buckle cost is very high.

The cost of the buckle, plus shipping to the next manufacturer, plus all shipping and import costs to bring the product to Australia are all included in what we charge here. We don't add a margin other than to bring the RRP to a normal-looking number.

We charge just enough to cover the costs of producing and shipping these straps so that you may use them on many adventures to come.
