ZPLATE® FREEDOM TO WALK
Sturdy laterally, flexibe frontally. The ZPLATE® shank in the midsole keeps the right flexibility of the shoe, for an optimal riding and walking comfort, ensuring at the same time the transverse rigidity to protect the foot, in case it would be crushed under the vehicle.

D3O®
In its raw form the D3O® molecules flow freely, thanks to their non-Newtonian nature, allowing the material to be soft and flexible. On impact, the D3O® molecules lock together, absorb and dissipate the energy from impacts, significantly reducing the amount of force that gets transmitted to the body compared to standard materials.
GROUNDTRAX® OUTSOLES
Groundtrax® outsoles are engineered to ensure stability, grip and traction both on the footpegs and once got off the saddle. This is due to the design of lugs and grooves, as well as the choice of the rubber compound, which also maximize the wear-resistance and self-cleaning of the tread. The sole is featured by a dedicated gear shift area, to provide an higher precision during the ride.

T.C.S.® TORSION CONTROL SYSTEM
The Torsion Control System® allows lateral and longitudinal movement of the ankle within its physiological limits, preventing excessive torsion and the risk of joint fracture. The main structure is composed of a double-heel counter and an interchangeable, polyurethane frame that allows lateral and longitudinal movement of the ankle, preventing torsion beyond natural limits. This structure is connected to central body sewn to the upper, connecting the top to the bottom of the boot to guarantee excellent hold.

CORDURA® AFT (AIR FLOW TECHNOLOGY)
CORDURA® AFT (Air Flow Technology) is a high technology fabric where the polyamide fibres constitute the basis for a light-weight design that affords superior resistance to wear, to tearing and to abrasion. The knitted pattern that distinguishes this type of fabric offers a high degree of breathability, guaranteeing the best riding comfort in mild weather.
THE "IDEAL" CONSTRUCTION
The "Ideal" construction technique is a craft-based construction process that guarantees comfort, hard-wearing resistance and flexibility for footwear thanks to a totally traditional production process. The leather upper, prepared with the outer edges bonded and pressed onto a dedicated midsole, is stitched vertically. The yarn employed, which used to be cotton, and then replaced by nylon or synthetic material, is dipped in a purpose-designed boiler full of melted tar to ensure the yarn and holes are totally waterproof. The result is a top quality footwear whose distinguishing features are prestige and durability.

GORE-TEX MEMBRANE
This fine material has important features such as long-term waterproofing capacity, excellent resistance to the most extreme temperatures and high resistance to wear and tear. The special microporous structure of the GORE-TEX fabric in expanded PTFE contains around 1.4 thousand million microscopic pores per square centimetre. These pores are approximately 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapour. So while water cannot penetrate the GORE-TEX membrane in liquid form, sweat (water vapour) can easily evaporate. This results is a completely waterproof barrier
