Made from just 'Five Rows' with just over 800 bottles produced, this is a dry, full bodied Pinot Gris with great texture, and lightly roasted pear and subtle spice flavours.

Viticultural Practices

Made from 16 year old vines which are planted on well-drained sandy gravels. The clone is 2/15 known for its ability to produce very high quality wines particularly when made in barrel.

Wine Making Details

The Pinot Gris was machine harvested and pressed straight to neutral (old) oak barrels for fermentation. The wine went through wild fermentation until dry followed by partial malolactic fermentation. It then sat on lees for nine months with weekly lees stirring to build texture on the pallet. It was aged in bottle for 12 months before release. Food and wine matching
