MTD Transmission Belt Set

MTD Transmission Belt drive kit for 600 series MTD with Variator drive. This kit contains 2 belts that are used to Drive between the engine and the variator and the variator and the Transmission on MTD Riding mowers. One belt is 954-0280. This belt measure.700" x 53". This fits the Engine to Variator. Second belt is 954-0370. This belt measures.715" x 48.5". This fits from the variator to the transmission. This kit allows you to change both belts at the same time.
954-0280 is a primary variable drive belt, engine pulley to vari-drive pulley. Part numbers 754-0280, 754-0280A, 954-0280A are the same part. Part 754-0370 is the secondary variable drive belt, vari-drive pulley to transmission pulley. Part 954-0370 is the same as 754-0370. Because of the difficulty and time involved changing just one belt we recommend changing both while you have every thing apart. Only takes another 15-20 minutes on most models.
