- B-Grade or Paint Grade: B-grade plywood may have some knots and patches, but these are usually smaller and fewer compared to lower grades. It’s often used in applications where the appearance of the wood will be covered by paint or another finishing material. It’s suitable for general construction where appearance is not a primary concern.
- C-Grade: This grade has a rougher appearance with larger knots and defects that may be patched. C-grade plywood is commonly used in construction where the appearance is less critical, such as subflooring, sheathing, and roofing.
