MON CHEVAL 'Mon Petit' Carbonic Pinot Noir 2014

Tasting Note: An unfined and unfiltered pinot noir from a 2.2 ha vineyard in the Weka Pass area of Waipara Valley, North Canterbury. This is the second release of the Mon Petit Cheval label – this wine is the younger brother to the Mon Cheval range, exhibiting the same refined aromatic and textural complexities, but with a gentler and more fruit-forward profile. Packed full of red fruit and spice aromas, with hints of anise, florals and a stalky herbaceous influence, it’s generous on the palate with firm tannins and medium-plus acidity supporting a solid finish. Vegan friendly.
