The wine shows ripe stone fruit characters suggestive of yellow fleshed peaches and apricots intertwined with hints of lychees, loquats and fresh figs. Honeysuckle and comb honey characters come from the botrytis.

The nose is packed with an abundance of citrus and stone fruit, together with the tropical aromas of pineapple and guava. Interspersed also with floral notes reminiscent of honeysuckle and jasmine. The palate is concentrated and mouth-filling, yet balanced with refreshing acidity that complements its lingering dry finish.

Intense varietal aromas of lychee, quince, rose petal & oriental spice. Layered beneath there are also hints of white peach, nectarine and honey dew melon. The palate is rich and unctuous, yet there remains a lively. A satisfying length and off dry finish.

Deep ruby in appearance with aromas of dark fruit, such as blackcurrents, plums and boysenberries. Layered beneath there are also hints of tobacco, liquorice and cloves. While the wine is full bodied, the Merlot component ensures it remains smooth and succulent on the palate, with generous fruit weight and soft velvety tannins.

The wine emanates a ripe fruit bouquet, suggestive of pears, yellow-fleshed peaches and fresh raw figs. These same flavours flow through into the palate where the wine has impressive fruit concentration and depth. A steely backbone complements its off-dry finish and provides a tingling minerality which helps draw out the lingering after-taste.

The wine shows a complex interplay of tropical fruit characters with elements of passion-fruit, mango and paw paw, supported by impressions of ripe gooseberries and dried herbs. It is fruity and mouth filling but yet has a refreshing spine of crisp acidity which keeps it focussed and helps draw out its length.

The wine has a deep, carmine and garnet hue. It has aromas and flavours suggestive of blackberries, raspberries, purple plums, vanilla pod, cigar-box and liquorice. On the palate there is a dense core of bright, ripe, mouth-filling fruit which is supported by an ample framework of fine grained physiologically mature tannins.

Lavish yet complex, the richly textured mouthfeel soon gives way to ripe phenolics and a rousing lash of acidity that canters across the palate, saddling up for a persistent and lasting finish, beckoning you back for more.
