NZ Landscape Photography | Calm

Location: Rotorua, New Zealand

Sprinkled around the shores of Lake Rotorua are quite a number of Jetty’s that make for great features to photograph. I especially liked this one because of it being double sided added a com-positional aspect I love and set about visiting this location on a number of mornings in mid-winter when the dawn light would be crisp and clear. On this particular morning there was such a sense of complete calm and stillness which then turned into a spectacular light show as the sun started to appear on the horizon. I was thrilled to capture a photograph that encapsulates this beautiful scene.
