NZ Landscape Photography | The Remarkables

Location: Queenstown, New Zealand

This photograph was taken in the middle of winter in Queenstown at the end of what had been a fantastic and successful photographic trip. It was a great lesson to always be looking for the next shot, as I thought since I was heading to the airport shortly that all my opportunities for new images were finished. Instead I saw this scene and completely loved what I saw with the low dominating cloud below the brilliant Remarkable mountain range. This of course looks like a black and white photo but is actually full colour, giving an idea of how moody the scene was.
