With a nod to Viva Magenta, the warm, expressive and universally flattering Pantone Colour of the Year 2023, designer Helda Panagary has crocheted this stunning design using a Forbidden Fuchsia Whirl (shade 555) from the Ombre collection. With an easy repeat consisting of rows of granny stitch and trebles, this surprisingly simple pattern lets the colours do the work! This generous triangular shawl measuring 218 x 125cm is finished with a dainty bobble border in ‘Pomegranate’ Whirlette (shade 874) - a perfect example of extending the gradient of a colour changing Whirl using a matching solid colour Whirlette!

- Yarn A: 555 Forbidden Fuchsia x 1 yarn cake
- Scheepjes Whirlette (60% Cotton, 40% Acrylic; 100g/455m)

- Yarn B: 874 Pomegranate x 1 yarn cake
