Whakapono

Faith without action is fruitless and the design intent for this blanket is to reflect whakapono as a principle of action and power. Whenever we exercise our belief, our whakapono, we inspire courage and determination to take purposeful action towards creating a reality we aspire to achieve.

This blanket is woven in our heavy style with a thicker yarn using 100% New Zealand Lambswool, resulting in a larger & more robust blanket. There are six different weave structures used to embellish this design, with a reversible contrasting colour palette. Te Ata Hāpara collection features our classic blanket stitch edging. The yarn colours used are Pīngao Gold, Kura Red, Sand and Bark.
