Elisabeth Buchanan

Elisabeth Buchanan studied at the Ilam School of Fine Arts, University of Canterbury and graduated with an honours degree in painting in 1976.

Buchanan painted the Central Otago landscape and it became her hallmark and her large, abstracted compositions depict the fractured light and vistas of lakes and mountains of the region.
