Ruth Killoran

Ruth is a full time painter and stone sculptor living in Christchurch.

Born in Liverpool, UK, Ruth attended Liverpool Art College and studied 3 dimensional design at Teesside University.

She had a career as an interior designer in London before moving to New Zealand in 2006.

Ruth on her process:

"My emotions drive me whether I am painting or sculpting. I seldom have a plan, letting my subconscious take over and I am constantly experimenting and learning with the medium being used."
