Michel Tuffery MNZM (1966 -)

New Zealand-based artist, of Samoan, Rarotongan and Ma’ohi Tahitian heritage, Michel Tuffery, is an acclaimed printmaker, painter and sculptor. Tuffery draws on his Pacific Island heritage in his art practice and was one of the first wave of artists with Pacific ancestry to work within the contemporary art world who came to prominence in the early 1990’s.
