Brenda Clews

Auckland based artist, Brenda Clews, paints emotive landscapes inspired by the seasons in Coromandel - Matarangi, Whangapoua, Kuaotunu, Rings Beach, Opito Bay and Otama Beach.

Clews process beings with photography, documenting landscapes in different weather, times of day, and a conscious reflection on her own emotions. She works in loose brushstrokes, a loose palette, layering up using acrylics and oil pastels.
