:
Introduced in 2012 as part of Tom Ford’s Private Blend collection, Café Rose explored the contrast between richly textured rose and the dark bitterness of coffee. Antoine Lie composed the fragrance around Turkish rose and a roasted coffee accord, deepened by saffron and black pepper before moving into a floral heart of Bulgarian and May rose. Patchouli, incense, sandalwood, and amber create a warm, resinous base that gives the composition depth and refinement. Compared with later reformulations, the original Private Blend edition presents a darker, denser interpretation of rose, emphasising spice, smoke, and roasted warmth within an oriental floral structure.

Please note, when ordering a decant size, you will receive the original fragrance in a glass vial atomizer, not the bottle pictured above.
