Tam Dao Eau de Parfum is a deeper interpretation of Diptyque’s original Tam Dao, inspired by the sacred forests of Vietnam. Composed by Daniel Molière, the fragrance centres on a rich sandalwood accord, highlighting its creamy, smooth, and slightly milky facets. Cedar adds structure and dryness, while cypress and myrtle introduce an aromatic, green freshness that lifts the composition. Compared to the Eau de Toilette, the Eau de Parfum places greater emphasis on sandalwood’s warmth and depth, creating a more enveloping and rounded expression. The result is a refined woody fragrance that balances freshness with creamy wood richness, maintaining clarity and elegance throughout its development.
