Here, the mineral inclusions present as ethereal cloud-like forms floating in the stone. Depending on the background it is worn against, the colours in this piece change - it responds to your dress and captures your mood!

Much like us, each piece of Pounamu has its' own 'DNA', its' own structure and special features that make it unique. This provides challenges, and opportunities for the carver. This is where the artists' creativity must be matched with a technical carving skill - wonderfully achieved by Ric Moor in this piece.
