Carved from Marsden jade, a beauty!

A medium sized cupped disc pendant hand carved for us by Ric Moor.

This is a unisex, contemporary piece - it is suitable for anyone who appreciates a lovely tactile piece of New Zealand pounamu. Ric polished this piece using a process called tumbling. Numerous pieces are packed into a revolving container which rotates over an extended period of time and the pieces polish one another. This produces a wonderful matte finish and, in this case, a ridgy feel to the stone where the softer parts are worn more that the harder areas - this has given a wonderful feel in the hand!

We have one only and this piece will be removed from our site when sold.
