Outstanding New Zealand Jade Art, made to Wear!
hand carved from New Zealand Pounamu and is an absolute beauty. The colours are a reflection of the bush that lines the river this stone may very well have come from! Wonderful dark green mottled with paler mineral inclusions - pounamu pure!

The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful. They were used to carve ocean-going waka (sea canoes) and to build central meeting houses so they played a central role in traditional life of māori.
The toki is traditionally worn for strength and courage - to assist through life's challenges.
