Leader Equine Wipe-Clean Tailcord

Durable wipe-clean elasticated tailcord/fillet strap to attach to horse rugs with D Rings fixed on the back of the rug, that have cross or triple surcingles. Clip across behind the horse's back legs, under the tail, to keep the rug secure. These cords are designed to give you an option to swap a standard nylon webbing cord that will be easier to clean if needed. If your rug relies on leg straps, these tailcords are not a replacement for those.

Sizing is typically for Leader Equine and Horseware Ireland rugs - please check your rug sizing compared to those brands when choosing your tailcord size.

Sizing:

20cm is for 5’0 and under rugs - AU/UK Sizing

30cm is for 5’6 and 5’9 rugs - AU/UK Sizing (and some chunkier 5'3 ponies :) )

40cm is for 6’0 and 6’3 rugs - AU/UK Sizing

50cm is for 6’6 and 6’9 rugs - AU/UK Sizing

60cm is for 7’0 and 7’3 rugs- AU/UK Sizing

If ordering from New Zealand, please ensure you add 1'3" to the size to get your AU/UK size. Or refer to our size guide for rugs in the footer of the website with measurements. Features

Does not need to be opened/closed each time. Just undo your belly surcingles and front closures and slide your rug off behind the horse.
