Offshore Medical Training- 2 Days**

Two-day Offshore Medical Course customised to provide students with the basics required for Offshore Cruising. Course also covers a handover of the Offshore Medical Kit (CAT 1) and how to use it.

When: Various Dates

Location: TBC - Usually located at a venue on Westhaven Drive, Auckland
Courses running outside of Auckland (Whangarei/Wellington/Christchurch) will have their locations confirmed via email to participants.

Time: 8:30am - 4:30pm

Parking: Paid carparking on Westhaven drive (you'll be informed if there is free parking available when getting course information emails)

Notes: Wear comfortable clothing for practical sessions. Tea & Coffee will be provided. There will be eateries nearby or you are welcome to bring a packed lunch.

- The Unconscious Casualty
- CPR & Basic Life Support
- AED Use
- Bleeding, Tourniquet use, Israeli bandage use & CELOX
- Management of Shock, Anaphylactic shock, hypoglycemic shock
- Burns & Scalds
- Transporting a casualty
- Wound Care
- Offshore Medical Kit (CAT 1) familiarisation session

For a course to run there has to be a minimum of 6ppl attending.

100% refund up to 2 weeks prior to the course date. 75% refund within 2 weeks of the course date. If you book and the course date doesn't suit you later on, can be interchanged for another course if there is availability.
