Also known as 'Striped jack', Trevally is widespread in tropical and warm waters and more common around the northern part of New Zealand.

Trevally has a medium to soft texture that is marbled pink and is perfect smoked or in raw fish dishes such as Ceviche. Also, due to its low oil content most suitable for all cooking methods.
