Wagon Wheel Chef Knife

The materials for this chef's knife rested against the historic Opaki Racecourse stables for more than a century, untouched as motorised vehicles with wheels of alloy and tyres of rubber roared past and the seasons flashed by. Then, one fateful day Benjamin came along and everything changed.

He hand-forged the blade from layered 1084 & 15N20 Damascus steel clad in salvaged wagon wheel wrought iron, its fibrous grain hed to reveal Victorian blacksmith artistry.

The hardwood handle and custom display stand are shaped from the same weathered wagon spoke—history reborn for the modern kitchen.
