205 Head

The 205-head yard is a dynamic working yard built for serious producers.

Originally designed in conjunction with a large breeding operation in the Marlborough region, this yard has since been sold to numerous farms across New Zealand - the majority of which also run large breeding operations.

The design features six working pens complemented by a drafting octagon, enabling a vast range of drafting capabilities. It is particularly versatile from a drafting perspective, with the ability to draft between pens easily, as well as draft three ways out of the crush.

The race is 17 metres long, capable of holding 12–15 cattle at a time - making it well suited to high-throughput operations.

For maximum efficiency, this yard pairs perfectly with large holding pens similar to those shown in the renders, bringing total holding capacity to around 500 head.
