Cell Control Array Receptor

The Block is designed for the qualitative control of immunochemical stainings and in situ hybridisation. It is intended to ensure a “Yes" or “NO" answer for the particular staining and to ensure a constant sensitivity. The array contains cell lines expressing different levels of Estrogen Receptor (ER), Progesterone Receptor (PR), and HER2 (ERBB2). It is intended for research use only.
Cell Control Arrays are FFPE blocks with embedded cells or cell lines that can be used as controls for various purposes. They are suitable for immunohistology, in situ hybridization and special stainings. Control slide sets contain precut sections of these blocks that are mounted on coated slides and already baked.
Advantages:
• control blocks can be cut according to standard procedures and mounted on coated slides
• suitable as on-slide controls next to test samples
• the cell punches are homogeneously fused with the surrounding paraffin
• good visibility of the sections on the slide due to the use of dyed paraffin
• easy orientation within the section due to inserted punches of myocardial tissue
• constant and high quality as well as reproducibility of results
