Whalebone Toki

This strong and solid whalebone necklace is full of mana and meaning. Toki symbolizes strength, resembles determination, control and honour. Finished with intricate Koru designs which is the traditional Maori symbol also representing love, new life, family, purity and peace.

Whales are considered a taonga species, and represent abundance, richness and were regarded as chiefly animals. Whales possess a tapu (sacred) significance as both supernatural beings and of personal change and spiritual growth.
